PLATRAW | Ecommerce B2B \ B2C
1. Project Overview & UX Role
As UX Manager, I spearheaded the design of Platraw’s B2B e-commerce platform, a solution tailored for businesses sourcing food and retail supplies at scale. The challenge was to balance the complex workflows of B2B transactions(bulk ordering, multiple branches, payment methods) with the ease and familiarity of B2C shopping. My role covered UX strategy, interaction design, and usability validation to ensure the platform met the needs of procurement officers, retailers, and wholesale buyers.
2. Streamlined Product Discovery
To make catalog navigation more efficient, we designed multi-layered category structures, predictive search, and intelligent filters. Features such as search auto-complete with category/brand grouping and “Shop All” shortcuts enabled faster product discovery. These improvements cut average product search time by 30%, allowing business users to build large orders quickly while reducing friction in catalog browsing.
3. Simplified Checkout & Multi-Branch Management
B2B transactions often involve multiple locations and payment conditions. We addressed this by creating a flexible checkout flow with support for credit terms, Apple Pay, wire transfer, and cash on delivery. A branch registration module with map-based selection ensured accuracy in delivery addresses across multiple outlets. This adaptability reduced failed deliveries and supported higher order completion rates, even for complex, multi-branch customers.
4. Personalized Experience & Business Value
To enhance loyalty, the platform included voucher management, order history, and credit balance tracking, giving businesses transparency and control over spend. Personalized sections such as “Recently Added,” “Top Brands,” and “Premium Prices” further streamlined reordering. These UX enhancements improved adoption, increased repeat purchases, and positioned Platraw as a scalable, user-friendly B2B marketplace.
